January 13, 2018 Adventurer’s Club Board Meeting

Our President, Marsha Soroka, called the meeting to order at 4:45 P.M and welcomed all.

Marsha brought Sherry Brown up to the podium to discuss the Road Trip. Any members going on the trip needs to provide Sherry with home addresses, home telephone and cell telephone numbers as well as email addresses.

Marsha said that the Little Havana Event and the Picnic were huge successes. Feedback was 100% positive. Claire Taylor, our Event Director, did a remarkable job. Thank you Claire.

Marsha then explained that you cannot attend an event if you are not on the list. Members must check the website or call the event chair to make sure they are on. There had been some confusion about this. Each member must check the waitlist on the website or talk to the event chairperson to ensure that they have been included.

If you miss a meeting, Mirtha Fineman, our Administrator, will e-mail the event sign-up sheet to the member. If there is an event you wish to attend, call or e-mail the chairperson.

At our next meeting, Scott Grody, our travel agent for the cruise, will attend and hand out important information for those members going on the cruise. Members going on the cruise will have a private special reception, two evenings of Trivia and a special room for card playing and to mingle.
